We are Anita, Jean-Louis, Leo, and our four-legged crew member, Millie. Together, we’re on a mission to inspire, educate, and explore the wonders of the natural world—all seen through the curious, growing eyes of our son, Leo.

Meet the Crew

  • Anita — The Marine Biologist: With a deep-rooted passion for the sea and marine conservation, Anita is the educational heart of our team. She has traveled up and down the East Coast of Australia, delivering engaging talks at schools to ignite a love for ocean life in young minds.
  • Jean-Louis — The Ocean-Going Wildcard: Driven by adventure, hands-on restoration, and a love for the open water, Jean-Louis brings the grit, creativity, and determination that keeps our floating home moving forward.
  • Leo — The Explorer: The inspiration behind everything we do! We are building this life to show Leo the beauty, magic, and importance of protecting our planet.
  • Millie — The Sea Dog: Our loyal, furry companion who keeps watch from the deck and never misses an adventure.

Our Story

Our story began on the water—Anita and Jean-Louis actually met while working as tour guides on a cruise ship! Sharing a mutual obsession for exploration, wildlife, and the ocean, it wasn't long before we realized we wanted to chart our own course.

We made the leap to leave the traditional cruise life behind to pursue a bigger dream: building an online education platform across YouTube and social media dedicated to teaching the younger generation about the natural world.

To make this dream a reality, we’ve poured countless hours, sweat, and love into hand-rebuilding our 31-foot James Wharram catamaran. Our ocean-going home and classroom will serve as the base for all our journeys as we showcase the world’s marvels.
